Pastor Hutchings is a world-renowned evangelist. She has traveled to Europe to spread the gospel. She has preached in Poland to a congregation who only knew Christ through the Catholic Church. During her missionary work many were called unto salvation and filled with the Holy Ghost. Another new thing.
Love. She wanted to convey the message to all that Jesus is love. Communication of this gospel should not be restrained to traditional forms of expression. Pastor Hutchings in partnership with Good Shepherd Church of Los Angles introduced several unique ministries: mime, dance, sign language, and the step. Several new things.
Community development is important to Pastor Hutchings. She sat down with then Governor of Arizona, Fife Symington to discuss the status of our community and changes she believed were needed. Pastor Hutchings often expounds upon issues that effect many of us to those with the earthly authority to make a change. She can be found in the classrooms of the member's children, and speaking on behalf of prisoners before the Parole Board. Pastor was a recent 2009 recipient of the Martin Luther King Stand Up for Justice Living the Dream award from the City of Phoenix, AZ.
Fellowship. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Pastor Hutchings maintains relationships with Believers throughout the world. Trinity has supported new ministries in Europe and Africa. Sponsoring both churches and individual evangelists. Her love for the brethren begins at home. She is an active member in several organizations: African American Christian Clergy Collation, United States of America Clergy Association and Full Gospel Fellowship.
It is said that a live church is one where there are children. Trinity Church of God in Christ's pulse continues to beat strong and true. The church is filled with youth and the youthful. Pastor Hutchings strives to maintain a standard of excellence. She encourages the youth to grow in Christ by allowing them to be participants and not just observers of the service.
Through adversity, opposition, and grief, Pastor Marye A. Hutchings was faithful and obedient to the task that had been placed before her. The years of serving at the side of her husband had proved to be her training ground for the years of service that were yet ahead of her. Pastor Marye A. Hutchings was lead by the Lord to do a new thing in the Phoenix area. Many looked on in anticipation expecting failure; others looked on confounded as such a thing was never heard of. Yet Pastor Hutchings bravely put her hand in God's hand and has allowed Him to lead her according to His will. And because of that obedience, God blessed Pastor Hutchings to have had many Ministries birthed from under her Ministry, souls saved, individuals delivered, countless others counseled, filled with the Holy Spirit and many encouraged to live for Christ.
